CMYK i.  Acrylic on wood & canvas. 47 x 3.8cm. In this version the painting canvas has been stripped back completely and ignored for its original intention. It and the stretcher are laid bare. The four corners of the latter are painted in the four process colours as an elemental statement for the potential of a blank canvas. In commercial printing calibration and production methods the small squares of each colour appear 'out of bounds' to enable the producer to check and maintain colour consistency.
